We are the Cherry Bombs, the Darlings of Rock & Roll... and we're here to give you an entirely new way to experience rock music. Hold on to your panties, kids. You're in for a wild ride.
You'll see us fly high from over 20' ceilings, set things on fire, and dance to the best of rock and metal music. Don't be shy, come into our world and let us show you our version of a rock show.
The funny thing about this description of the group is that it sells the idea of a rock and metal concert experience, but it's basically girls doing a choreography worthy of a high school talent show wearing lingerie and overlaying fishnet stockings and destroyed sheer stockings in the group's early years.
And well, it's already quite difficult to be a woman in the middle of rock and metal, and this group comes to do this even more coming from a woman who uses feminism under the term Girl Gang is quite problematic, since she herself didn't have the competence to learn an instrument and actually put together a band, she created this aberration.

And the fact that a group needed to wear this type of costume and do sensual dances to attract attention says a lot about Alicia's marketing strategy to promote the group in the beginning, since she didn't have much money to invest in clothes or scenery. After all, sex sells and considering the fact that they used to perform at bike weeks and in bars where the audience is mostly men, this is also a factor to be considered.
In the beginning, the group had the help of Nigel Dupree and his father Jesse Dupree, because many of the performances at motorcycle events were achieved thanks to the contact between the two, especially Jesse. But Alicia seemed to have bigger plans for the group, since around 2016 she met Jim Root during one of these bike weeks and asked for his help to promote the group, but apparently he didn't give her much importance.
The group only started to gain some relevance after Alicia's relationship with Corey, which started when the group toured with Stone Sour in 2017. After that, the group played several festival dates.
Even though they had money, the group continued to have little relevance, since they didn't have anything particularly interesting in themselves. Not to mention that rock and metal bands never had the need to have a dance group as support for their shows.
Despite the upgrade, fancy shit is still shit.
The fact is that this group only has the "relevance" it has because it needs the relevance of others to sustain itself.
You know what I'll never understand about Skyler, is how can someone who had an affair with someone who was in another relationship sleep peacefully? Yes, for those who aren't on Reddit, it seems that James' current girlfriend had an affair with him in January 2022 when he was still with Kissa and because of that Kissa broke up with him that same year. Which would explain why since their relationship became obvious in 2024 they keep their relationship off Instagram or any other social media. Not to mention, she's not exactly pretty or attractive. But it's like they say, you lose them the same way you get them.
